Introduction to KWC Sangat (Har Ki Seva)
Har Ki Seva, formerly known as KWC Sangat, has been an active and vibrant community organization since 2019. Our journey began with Kirtan programs at Conestoga College. During the COVID-19 pandemic, these programs were shifted to the Kitchener Gurdwara, where we have since hosted continuous Saturday/Friday Smagams for the past four years.

Our Projects
Supporting Students
We actively work on various projects to support students in educational institutions. These initiatives include promoting Gurmat Smagams for significant occasions such as Khalsa Day and Guru Nanak Day. We also organize grocery drives to help students in need and provide free rides to the Gurdwara.
Community Programs
Our commitment to community service extends to organizing programs in multiple cities and Gurdwaras, including Cambridge and London. We also host house programs to bring the community together in smaller, more intimate settings.
Gurmat Studies
We conduct comprehensive Gurmat studies programs at both the KW Gurdwara and London Gurdwara. These sessions include the study of Sikh history, philosophy, and scriptures, fostering a deep connection with faith and heritage. Regular Santhya and Kirtan sessions are held to help students learn and perform devotional music, while Gatka classes are conducted to master the traditional Sikh martial art.
Special Events
We celebrate significant cultural and religious events with enthusiasm and community involvement. Recently, we celebrated Sikh Heritage Month at KW City Hall, highlighting our rich heritage and fostering community spirit.
Interfaith Projects
We believe in fostering harmony and understanding among different faiths. Our interfaith projects aim to build bridges between diverse communities through dialogue, collaborative events, and shared service initiatives.
Homeless Drives
As part of our mission to serve the less fortunate, we conduct regular homeless drives. These efforts ensure that those in need receive essential supplies and support, reflecting our dedication to Seva (selfless service).
